Fun Watercolor Technique
This is a really fun technique that I learned somewhere along the way to create interesting textures in water color paintings:
You will need some water color paper, water color paints, a paint brush, and plastic wrap.
Once you have applied the paint you want to place a piece of plastic wrap over the wet paint. It will automatically cling onto the paint. You can scrunch up the plastic wrap in different ways to create different textures or lines.
You will need some water color paper, water color paints, a paint brush, and plastic wrap.
To start you are going to apply the watercolor paint on the paper. The more water you add to the paint the better this technique will work.
Once the paint has dried you can remove the plastic wrap and you will have your finished product. This technique is really fun to use when painting skies, or want an interesting background in your piece.

Wild Geese
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
